Heart Art is a fundraiser for Columbus non-profit Sam’s Fans. Students from all over central Ohio are invited to submit their artwork. Selected Jurors will choose artwork that will then be auctioned off at the Heart Art Event in November. The event will include live music, art and community.
Meet local maker and owner of Dyetolgy, Jackie Ayres as she teaches about the dyeing process. She’ll walk you through making your own scarf or tote bag. Shop her Fall collection—bring a friend and your favorite bottle of wine to share. (Due to the nature of the dyeing process, be sure to wear old clothes, class will start promptly at 7 p.m.) All supplies included.
Creating Something Out of Nothing
Join local illustrator and children's author of "Seed Man" and "Friends" Aiko Ikegami for a watercolor, storytelling workshop for adults and children of all ages. (under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult) In this workshop we’ll work on boosting our imagination and creativity using watercolor as medium.
Walking transportation is available for Barrington students.

Join us to honor the former Columbus artist Aminah Robinson. Aminah combined traditional art materials with found objects to create works of art inspired by her community. Collage materials will be available to create your own hanging collage. Local Artist Bryan Moss, will guide families in creating a community wall mural in Picassos Art Studio space.
